New Royal Mail Selection Files Now Available
Please note that we are making changes to the postcode sortation selections used by our mail centres from 29th July 2013. This means we are releasing a new version of the Royal Mail Selection Files, which are used for bulk mailings with Low Sort and High Sort options.
As someone who uses sorted mail, you must update your sorting systems each time a new version of the Royal Mail Selection Files is issued by us. If you don't, you risk delaying the delivery of your mail and may have to pay a higher price for your mailings. If you use sortation software from a third party supplier, they will already know about this change, and will be able to advise you further.
Summary of Change
Services which currently have 1525 selections will move to 1529, while Services which currently have 88 selections will reduce to 86 selections.
Coming into Effect
The changes come into effect from Monday 29th July 2013. To allow you to prepare postings in advance of this changeover date, the new Royal Mail Selection Files 2013 are available for download from our website http://www.royalmailtechnical.com from today.
Changeover Period
We will accept postings sorted using the new Selection Files from Monday 15th July 2013 and we will continue to accept postings sorted using Royal Mail Selection Files 2012 up to and including Saturday 10th August 2013, (which provides a maximum 4 week change over period), After 10th August we will not accept postings which use the old selection files.
