Royal Mail Selection Files 2013 Release 3 and Customer Final Label Files 2023 Release 3

Important information: Royal Mail Selection Files 2013 Release 3 and Customer Final Label Files 2013 Release 3.

We are notifying you of the launch of a new release of Royal Mail Selection Files for our Business Mail, Advertising Mail, Publishing Mail or Subscription Mail services. This release is a mandatory release and must be used from 31st March 2025.  

The new selection files will be available for download here from Thursday 2nd January 2025.

A new Customer Final Labelling Files will be available from week commencing 20th January 2025. This release is also a mandatory release and must be used from 31st March 2025.

If you or your agents use bag labels printed and supplied by Royal Mail, you need take no action. Similarly, if you have final labelling equipment and software provided by Royal Mail, you will be contacted by our agents, The Barcode Warehouse Ltd, who will provide the relevant update.

If you use software and equipment that is not supplied by Royal Mail/The Barcode Warehouse then you should arrange to use the new CFL Files 2013 Release 3 to print your own bag or tray labels when posting Business Mail, Advertising Mail, Publishing Mail or Subscription Mail (sorted options) from 31st March 2025.

Please continue to use the current Royal Mail Selection Files 2013 Release 2 and CFL Files 2013 Release 2 until 30th March 2025.
