1. The test address list is supplied to allow The Licensee to test the software and/or automated sorting machinery they have produced / procured (hereinafter: "sortation solution") for accuracy of sortation.
2. The Licensee will sort the list of addresses using their solution and will not use the list for any other purposes whatsoever.
3. The test addresses will be treated as confidential and no copies made of them, other than for the specific purpose of the sortation tests. The addresses will not be supplied to any third party.
4. The results of the test (i.e. mailing summary reports, planning reports and line listings) that you submit must be direct outputs by your software, will be sent to Royal Mail (care of the Royal Mail Technical Team) so that the sortation solution can be tested for accuracy against Royal Mail′s master solution. Licensees producing mailpieces for the evaluation of Automated Sorting Machines will be advised of separate arrangements for assessment.
5. Once the test has been passed it is encumbered on the software supplier to provide this level of software functionality to it′s customers, and in future versions, which must remain compliant with the prevailing Royal Mail specifications, otherwise Royal Mail will remove your accreditation.
6. The Licensee agrees to be liable for any misuse which arises, directly or indirectly, from the supply of this test address list.
7. When the test has been completed (or at an earlier time at Royal Mail′s request):
8. On behalf of The Licensee, I wish to confirm that The Licensee′s sortation software is compliant with all Royal Mail′s requirements and will remain so.
